Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 May 2026

⚠️ This is a starting template, not legal advice. Replace the [bracketed] placeholders with your real details and have a lawyer review it before launch (esp. EU consumer & GDPR rules).

These terms govern your use of ask her out (the “Service”), operated by [Your Company / Name], [address], [country]. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. The service

ask her out lets you create a personalized “date proposal” web page, get a private link, share it, and receive the recipient’s answer by email. Pages auto-expire 30 days after publishing.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country).

3. Acceptable use

Don’t use the Service to harass, threaten, impersonate, or send unsolicited spam, or to upload illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit content. Don’t attempt to break, scrape, or overload the Service. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the text, images and links you add. You grant us a limited licence to host and display that content so the Service can function. You confirm you have the right to use any media (GIFs, photos, songs) you add.

5. Payments

The Service is currently in free beta. When paid plans launch, prices, add-ons and any discounts will be shown before purchase and processed by our payment provider. See our Refund Policy.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties. We don’t guarantee a particular outcome (we can’t make anyone say yes 😅), uninterrupted availability, or that emails are always delivered.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Termination

You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Expired/deleted sites are removed.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Slovenia / your country], without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence in the EU.

10. Changes & contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Questions: [support@yourdomain].
